OPOLO VINEYARDS grows nearly 300 acres of grapes on both the east and west sides of Paso Robles. This provides a wide range in climate, soil, and growing potential, which allows Opolo to produce 20 different varietals. The Westside vineyard is located in the Willow Creek AVA and offers temperatures about ten degrees cooler than the Eastside vineyards, with an ocean breeze that creates a cooling effect on the grapes.
The Westside vineyard on picturesque Vineyard Drive is home to the Opolo Tasting Room, where at any given time more than thirty wines can be found on the tasting list. Unique single varietals are an Opolo specialty, as well as creative and delightful blends. Our flagship Mountain Zinfandel, is a crowd pleaser with its approachable fruit forward notes complimented by complex depth and body.
