About Betsey Nash:
Longtime central coast resident Betsey Nash is certified Senior Professional in Human Resources by the two national HR organizations, (SPHR & SHRM-SCP) and owner of NASH HR SERVICES. With clients from San Diego to Seattle, Betsey brings over 25 years’ experience as a Human Resources generalist and in management to NASH HR SERVICES. After a career in title insurance and a stint as a popular radio talk show host & newspaper columnist, she spent 10 years in HR with the Home Depot before being recruited by Bed Bath & Beyond to be District HR Manager for the 12 stores in the busy San Fernando Valley and Central Coast. She has been conducting training in personnel and management topics for college students and adults since 1983.

Betsey’s history of community service is impressive: she was founding President of the SLO County Women’s Network, was a director of the Cuesta College Foundation, the San Luis Obispo Symphony, and the county Land Conservancy. Betsey served two terms on the Board of Directors of the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce, and is two-term past President of the Human Resources Association of the Central Coast. In 2013 she was appointed to the SLO County Civil Service Commission. In addition to serving on the Cal Poly S.I.F.E. Club Business Advisory Board; and the Mission Community Services Professional Technical Advisory Team, until she “retired”, she penned the popular weekly column on employment issues & relationships for the Tolosa Press, ONLY HUMAN.
