Late in the evening of Sunday, Oct. 8th, 2017, a series of wildfires ignited Northern California’s beloved wine country. Shocked residents who lost homes and businesses, first responders, chefs and winemakers share their harrowing accounts while the fallen community begins to rebuild. On Nov. 21, one very long table was set in a vineyard, on the Napa-Sonoma border, to bring together 500 community members, first responders and fire victims for a harvest lunch and fundraiser, spearheaded by “Uncrushable” director, Chef Tyler Florence, event coordinators and caterers.
Meet Tyler Florence in San Luis Obispo at a reception at the Fremont Theatre at 1pm, hosted by The Downtown Wineries of Paso Robles. The downtown wineries will be pouring varietals in honor of the Napa-Sonoma Wineries: Chardonnays, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlots and Pinot Noirs amongst other varietals. Wine tasting is included in the price of the movie ticket. The screening of Uncrushable will begin at 2pm.
