Italian composer Domenico Scarlatti wrote his E major keyboard sonata in 1757. That same sonata was the inspiration for Bartók’s1927 string quartet, 170 years later. Join violist Caitlin Lynch and fellow artists at the beautiful Dallidet Adobe for an exploration ofthis work and how it connects to Scarlatti’s piece. Then, enjoy a gourmet luncheon on the Redwood Patio, complete with wines from Lone Madrone.
