Name: Downtown Parking Meeting
Date: April 16, 2018
Time: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM PDT
Event Description:
The City of Paso Robles has begun assessing Downtown parking needs challenges and is requesting community input to help identify potential solutions. Interested community members are encouraged to attend a public forum on Monday, April 16, 2018, from 6:30PM to 8:30PM at the Paso Robles Library Conference Center, 1000 Spring Street.
The parking assessment will identify residential and business parking needs and potential solutions for the areas between 6th and 17th Streets and between Olive Street and Riverside Avenue. All residents, businesses, and property owners within the study area will receive meeting invitations by mail the week of April 1st.
“Anyone who lives or works in Paso Robles is aware of our downtown parking challenges. At one point it was a signal of our success; it is now time to address the shortage of parking to improve the experience for residents and visitors,” said City Manager Tom Frutchey. “To develop the right set of solutions will require input from residents, business owners, employees, and property managers to find near-term and longer-term solutions. We hope that as many members of the public as possible will attend on April 16th and help us devise a parking plan that works for the community, business owners and shoppers.”
Findings from public meetings and an initial Parking Needs Assessment will be presented at the April 17, 2018 City Council meeting.

If you cannot attend the Downtown Parking meeting but would like to express your opinion to the parking consultant, please send your comments via email to cityclerk@prcity.com or call 805.237.3888 no later than 5PM on April 15.
